Following my 6 week sabbatical from all things musical it was with a mixture of nervousness and excitement that I played the first record tonight …. but quickly got back in the groove.
I’m looking for a favour … two actually; if you know any bands or musicians in NE England, preferably around Tyneside, but it’s not exclusive … ask them to get in touch for a play on the show or if they are releasing an album or EP … for the website.
The second thing is about the show; as the months go by I intend doing a themed show once a month; so far I’m collating ones for Canadian and Australian Roots music, British Americana and also a two hour special celebrating women in Americana/Roots; but if you have any other ideas get in touch via the usual addresses.
